Bohin Darner Needle Range (#01 – #11)

The short darners needles have a sharp tip and a big eye to accommodate wool yarn.
Bohin short darners needles have a longer eye which makes it easier to thread darning yarn (which is thicker) through. They are ideal for darning wool and cotton.
They are ideal for all types of darning work on medium and heavy fabrics such as velvet, wool, brocade, woollen cloth, denim jeans, linen, twill or crepe.
Darning consists in making a hole disappear by intertwining threads, which will fill up the surface by re-meshing the fabric.
The numbering corresponds to the size of each needle, No. 3/0 being the longest and thickest one, and No. 11 the shortest and thinnest one of the series.
