They are skilfully designed and manufactured to exacting standards with feature slotted and hexagonal tightening heads to enable maximum tension.
Manufactured from beech, with inner and outer parts polished after grinding.
The available depth ranges from 8mm to 24mm.
Nurge hoops are sturdy and will last a lifetime.
This is essential for working Stumpwork and Goldwork to keep the fabric firm.
To protect the fabric from slipping & hoop marks, all hoops must be bound with cotton tape, preferably both rings.
